PARENTING IS HARD!
Parenting a child with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (Asperger’s Syndrome) is a totally different experience when they are transitioning from High School to College to Career.
Parents Play a key role in navigating the road from High School to College to Career!
Your child may do well in academics like my son Kelvin but struggle in areas of life skills, social skills, and advocating for themselves.
My goal is to strengthen and support your family. I know you want the best for your child just as I do. I am sharing the parenting tools and strategies I used to complete my Parent Transition Plan.
Kelvin’s social skills and life skills have significantly improved over the years with family support, mentors, and strength-based parenting. These skills are critical for an individual on the spectrum to navigate life, feel a sense of independence, and advocate for themselves.
I look forward to seeing you on the inside and lets begin the process of working on your Parent Transition Plan!
